Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and Authority

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter binding contracts. If you use Hoursauce on behalf of a company, you represent you have authority to bind that company.

2. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for account activity, credential security, and accurate account information. You must promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use Hoursauce only for lawful business use. You may not abuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, automate attacks against, or otherwise interfere with service operation, security, or other users.

4. Templates and Legal Content Disclaimer

Contract, proposal, and invoice templates are educational/productivity tools only. They are not legal, tax, accounting, or professional advice. We do not guarantee template suitability, enforceability, or legal compliance in your jurisdiction.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving your final documents before sending, publishing, or signing. You should consult a qualified attorney or professional when needed.

5. Your Content and Responsibility

You keep ownership of your business data and documents. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit that data to provide the service. You are responsible for your content, recipients, signatures, and payment instructions.

6. Plans, Paid Features, and Billing

Hoursauce may provide free and paid features. Pricing, taxes, and billing cadence are disclosed before purchase. We may change future pricing with notice where required by law.

7. Third-Party Services

Hoursauce relies on third-party providers (for example hosting, database, email, auth, and file delivery). Availability and performance of those providers may affect service functionality.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, abuse, legal risk, or security concerns. You may stop using the service at any time and may delete your account in-app.

9. Warranty Disclaimer

Hoursauce is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Matic Design (Schematic LLC) is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, contracts, or data.

Our total aggregate liability for claims related to the service is limited to the amount you paid to Hoursauce in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Matic Design (Schematic LLC) from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your use of templates/documents, your violation of law, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Colorado law, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in Colorado, except for qualifying small-claims actions. Class actions and jury trials are waived where legally enforceable.

13. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date reflects the latest version. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
