Data We Collect
We collect account data (name, email, auth/provider identifiers, password hash when applicable), settings, and the content you create in the app (clients, contacts, projects, timers, invoices, proposals, contracts, templates, and email activity).
We also process operational telemetry such as request metadata and security signals needed to run and protect the service.
How We Use Data
We use personal data to authenticate users, provide app features, generate documents, deliver transactional communications, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
Legal Bases and Consent
Depending on your location, our legal bases include contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and consent where required. Account creation requires acknowledgment of Terms and Privacy.
No Sale of Personal Data
We do not sell personal data and do not run ad-tracking profiles for targeted advertising.
Service Providers
We use trusted vendors to operate the service, including hosting, database, email delivery, authentication, and file infrastructure providers.
Those vendors process data under contract for service delivery and security operations.
International Processing
Hoursauce is available globally. Data may be processed in countries where our systems or providers operate.
Retention and Deletion
We keep data while your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution obligations. You can delete your account in-app; deletion removes active data subject to backup retention cycles.
Your Rights

Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Use strong credentials and protect access to your account.
Children
Hoursauce is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
